How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- review inquiries and determine whether a requested project is within our services, capacity, and timeline;
- communicate about consultations, quotes, designs, approvals, measurements, fittings, deadlines, orders, pickup, delivery, or shipment;
- create and manage customer accounts, carts, invoices, payments, taxes, refunds, and order records;
- provide customer service, address fit or quality concerns, and resolve disputes;
- detect fraud, card testing, spam, abuse, and security incidents;
- operate, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the website, forms, store, and customer experience;
- send newsletters or promotional messages when you have requested or consented to them; and
- comply with tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations and enforce our agreements.
WooCommerce and Payment Processing
Our store uses WordPress and WooCommerce. WooCommerce may use cookies to keep track of cart contents, account sessions, recently viewed products, and checkout activity. When you place or pay for an approved order, information needed to process the transaction may be shared with the payment provider you select.
Current payment and tax services may include WooPayments and its payment-processing partners, PayPal, and Stripe Tax. These providers process information under their own privacy policies. Stripe Tax may receive order, address, product, and transaction information needed to calculate and document applicable tax. PayPal Payments may use reCAPTCHA and other fraud-prevention signals to help protect checkout.
Forms, Analytics, Marketing, and Other Providers
We use service providers to operate the website and respond to inquiries. Depending on the feature you use, these may include WPForms, Google services, Site Kit and Google Analytics, Burst Statistics, MailPoet, Klaviyo, CookieYes, Akismet, Jetpack, TikTok, shipping or fulfillment providers, website hosting, security, and email-delivery services. A form submission may be delivered to our email, calendar, or connected business workspace so we can respond and manage the project.
We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising and analytics providers may process device, cookie, or interaction data as described in their own policies and according to your consent choices. Use the cookie controls shown on the site to manage non-essential cookies when available.
Who Can Access Information
Authorized Sewn 2 Dance administrators and team members may access information when needed to review an inquiry, prepare a quote, manage a project or order, provide support, process a refund, maintain the site, or satisfy legal obligations. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, service providers, payment processors, tax services, fraud-prevention providers, shipping carriers, or authorities when reasonably necessary and permitted or required by law.
Information About Minors
Our services may relate to dancers who are minors, but inquiries, accounts, approvals, uploads, and payments must be submitted by a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult. We do not knowingly invite children under 13 to submit personal information directly. If you believe a child under 13 submitted information without appropriate adult involvement, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Retention
We keep inquiry and project information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, prepare quotes, manage active or completed work, maintain design and fitting records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet business or legal obligations. Inquiries that do not become projects may generally be removed after a period of inactivity. Account and WooCommerce retention settings may anonymize or delete certain inactive-account and order information, but tax, payment, accounting, consent, warranty, dispute, or legal records may be kept longer when necessary. Comments and their metadata may be retained to recognize follow-up comments and prevent spam.
Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, subject to information we must keep for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, or contract purposes. WordPress may also provide confirmed data-export and erasure tools. To make a request, email contact@sewn2dance.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. Transactional messages about an inquiry, appointment, project, account, payment, or order may still be sent when needed to provide the requested service.
Cookies
Essential cookies support login, security, consent choices, carts, and checkout. Analytics, marketing, embedded-content, or social-media features may set additional cookies when permitted by your settings. See our Cookie Policy and the site cookie controls for more information.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for your inquiry or order.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as our store, service providers, or practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.
