I created Sewn 2 Dance because dancers deserve costumes that are made with care, fit with intention and support the story they are telling on stage. My goal is to bring together skill, creativity and innovation so every performer feels seen, supported and ready for the spotlight.

Sewn 2 Dance is led by founder Charmaine Regino, a designer, maker and business owner with more than 45 years of sewing experience and a lifelong appreciation for fashion, design, movement and artistry.

Decades of sewing experience
Charmaine’s experience gives her a practical understanding of how garments are built from the inside out. She understands fabric, fit, structure, seams, finishing details, alterations and the small construction choices that can make a major difference in how a garment feels and performs.
A Designer's Eye for Fit, Detail and Performance
Through Sewn 2 Dance, Charmaine has focused that experience on custom competitive dancewear and performance apparel. Dance costumes require a special balance of beauty and function. They must create visual impact, support movement, fit the dancer and hold up through practices, travel, competitions and stage lights.
WHY SHE BUILT SEWN 2 DANCE
Charmaine’s process is personal and practical. She listens to the dancer, parent, coach or studio director, then turns the creative vision into a wearable design plan. Her goal is to reduce stress, solve fit challenges and create garments that help dancers feel prepared and confident.

As founder, Charmaine is also looking ahead. Sewn 2 Dance is building toward stronger systems, digitaldesign development and future avatar-fit technology that can support more accurate sizing, better planningand scalable customization while keeping the heart of the brand rooted in craftsmanship
